About the Artist
- Jimmy Head
- Born in 1955, Jimmy Head was raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico. An active 4-H member, and a frequent companion to his father on hunting and fishing trips, Jimmy has always had a great appreciation for the outdoors. In 1984, he and his wife, Suzy, were very excited to move their young family to the beautiful mountains of Mimbres, NM where they still live today. He still enjoys playing in the mountains, but now he has 4 beautiful grandchildren to share it with! For the past 10 years, Jimmy has blessed others with his love for the outdoors through his metal and antler artwork. His wife, Suzy, has not only been his partner in marriage for the past almost 35 years, but is also a partner in the business. She accompanies him to every show, does the bookkeeping, gives input and suggestions on new designs, and most importantly, loves and supports Jimmy in all he does.
